JOB OVERVIEW

FCCS is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented marketing leader to oversee all aspects of marketing, branding, communications, and affinity program growth across FCCS and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serving on the Executive Committee, this role offers the opportunity to influence organizational strategy, elevate brand awareness, strengthen client relationships, and drive business growth through innovative marketing and communications initiatives. The VP of Marketing & Communications leads, develops, and empowers a high-performing marketing and communications team, creating an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration across the organization.

In addition to an annual bonus opportunity and competitive benefits, the salary range for this position is $150,000 -225,000 annually.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Serves as the senior leader responsible for FCCS marketing, branding and communications functions, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives.

·       Leads the strategic marketing initiatives and development of marketing and communications plan and budget to achieve business goals.

·       Develops internal communications for increased employee engagement, building and maintaining a strong culture and reinforcing the FCCS values.

·       Aligns the branding, marketing, communications with the organization’s strategic direction, business development, objectives and goals.

·       Manages a strong, successful marketing and affinity team (through the FCCS Passkey and sponsorship programs).

·       Maintains and manages a dynamic, exceptional team of outside experts for marketing, communications, branding and writing support.

·       Works collaboratively across practice areas and organization to identify and prioritize marketing and communication initiatives that align with the organization’s initiatives and revenue responsibilities.

·       Plans and produces the FCCS Forward Thinking Podcast.

·       Supports new organizational initiatives and partnerships with marketing and communications strategies.

·       Provides thought leadership, strategic insight and clear communication to the internal team and Board of Directors on marketing and communications strategies.

·       Acts as a high-level project manager for all marketing-related initiatives to ensure they are on time and adequately resourced.

·       Oversees the strategic implementation and optimization of HubSpot CRM to drive marketing efficiency, enhance lead management, and ensure seamless alignment between marketing and sales initiatives.

·       Leads and manages the strategic communications strategy for the FCCS’ Risk Management and Insurance Services business, including The Captive.

·       Strategically leads the growth and initiatives of the FCCS affinity program (Passkey and sponsorships) to grow revenue, market share and brand equity for the organization.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Marketing/Communications, preferably within professional services organizations.
  • Progressive leadership experience managing a high-performing team of marketing/communications professionals.
  • Experience creating and managing a strategic marketing plan and budget
  • Cross-functional experience in all aspects of Marketing, Branding, and Communications.
  • Demonstrated success marketing and selling professional services or other relationship-based offerings, rather than consumer products or manufactured goods.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple complex initiatives and prioritize resources to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with executives, clients, employees, Board members, and external partners.
  • Proven ability as a detail and deadline-oriented leader.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, partners, and external business relationships.
  • Requires up to 25% travel to represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other business-related activities.
  • Knowledge of the Farm Credit System is preferred.
  • Experience managing a sponsorship program is preferred.
  • Event marketing experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
